Born in Okinawa (Japan) in
1977, Kensaku Oshiro graduated
from Polytechnic School of Design
Milan in 1999, and started his
career in several design studios.
Since 2004 he is working at Lissoni
Associati Milano.
In 2006 he received the
awards of German magazine
"Designreport" at salone satellite
and the French "Elle Decor
Magazine" for “Best Newcomer
designer”, followed by a Red Dot
Award 2008 and IF Design Award
2009 for the “Sports” carpet for
Kymo.

大城1977年出生在日本冲绳，1999年
从米兰设计工艺学校毕业后，他便在几个
设计工作室里开始了职业生涯。自2004年
以来，他一直在米兰李索尼博士事务所工
作。
2006年，他在“米兰家具展卫星展”
上获得德国《建筑&室内设计》杂志以
及法国《Elle装饰》杂志之“最佳新人设
计师奖”，随后获得“2008年红点设计
奖”。09年他为Kymo公司设计的“运
动”地毯获得“2009年IF设计奖”。 |
