Established in Houjie Town, Dongguan City in June, 1999, Dongguan Famous Furniture Association has 264 members at present with subordinates of Manufacturer Committee, Supplier Committee, Dealer Committee, Designer Committee and Taiwanese Businessman Service Department. And the association secretariat has 28 employees with subordinates of Association affair Department, Exhibition Affair Department, International Affair Department, Project Promotion Department and Finance Department.
Taking the industry promotion and development as its responsibility, Dongguan Famous Furniture Association has undertaken 13 sessions of International Famous Furniture (Dongguan) Fair in 6 years and has extended the fair scale from 40,000 m2 to 200,000 m2. It receives more than 100,000 domestic and foreign professional purchasers in every fair, among which more than 10,000 are foreign purchasers. This association has become a full member of UFI in 2005.
Dongguan Famous Furniture Association provides all-round services to its member enterprise for development. Besides providing international branded exhibition and product marketing platform, it also founded a professional website-www.3f.net.cn and printed internal publication Famous Furniture newspaper and Famous Furniture proceedings regularly. This association communicates with related government departments positively to provide favorable and convenient service concerning enterprise quality inspection, patent application, trademark registration, law consultation and so on; and it also keep good cooperation relationships with furniture associations all over China and some other countries and regions to provide communication among interregional industries.
