(HOUJIE, CHINA)- 11 June 2008- Starting from June 2008, the pre-registered international visitors to the 20th International Famous Furniture Fair (Dongguan), commonly known as 3F, will enjoy better airfares when booking round trip air tickets to Hong Kong at the website of Cathay Pacific Airways for the period of 29th August to 10th September 2008. The 20th 3F falls on 6th to 10th September 2008.
For the past decade, the organizers of 3F have spared no efforts to better improve the services to visitors traveling from every part of China and all over the world. This is one of the most important driving forces behind this bi-annual trade fair's rapid development since its start in 1999.
"2008 is an important year in the history of 3F. We have shifted out autumn fair from August to September after running the show successfully for 19 editions to better fit into the timetable of buyers from Europe and America, who used to have a difficult time in choosing either vacation or visiting 3F. And now we have made their travel even more pleasant, thanks to Cathay Pacific Airways for being willing to provide special airfares to pre-registered visitors," commented Ms. Fang, the Secretary General of Dongguan Famous Furniture Association, one of the organizers of the trade fair.
After successful pre-registration at the event's website (www.3f.net.cn/e) or through email or fax, delegates will receive a booking instruction from the show organizer, then they can book air tickets at exclusive airfares from Cathay Pacific Airways via airline's website. This offer is exclusively provided to pre-registered delegates to 3F flying to Hong Kong when first leg of the trip falls on the period of 29th August to 10th September 2008. The air tickets are open, valid for a maximum stay of 30 days up to one year based on different routes. This arrangement is made for the benefits of most of overseas buyers who will stay behind the trade show and visit current or potential suppliers in their factories.
Dongguan lies in the heart of Pearl Delta Region in South China. It enjoys fast and convenient connections from most of the major cities in South China including Hong Kong and Macao. Dongguan is away from Hong Kong International Airport only 70 minutes by sea and 120 minutes by coach. Visitors can also visit Dongguan via Macao, Guangzhou and Shenzhen within a two-hour connection time.
The latest 19th 3F held in March attracted 110,000 trade visitors and among them 13,000 were from overseas. The on-site survey indicated that more than 65% of the visitors came to Dongguan via Hong Kong.
